Κροῖσος Ἅλυν διαβὰς μεγάλην ἀρχὴν καταλύσει· ὅτι μὲν διαβήσεται οὐ λέγει, τί δὲ πείσεται διαβὰς λέγει. Εἰ δὲ ἀπαλλάξεις τῆς συμπλοκῆς καὶ διοικίσεις μαντικὴν θεοῦ καὶ ἀνθρώπου νοῦν, καὶ διέλυσας ἁρμονιῶν τὴν μουσικωτάτην.
