9. Ἵνʼ οὖν δόξῃ μὲν ᾖς ἀχείρωτος, τύχῃ δὲ ἐλεύθερος, κακίᾳ δὲ ἀπολιόρκητος, μὴ ὡς κειμηλίους δεξάμενος ἀπόθῃ τοὺς λόγ ους, ἀλλʼ ὡς ἀλεξικάκῳ δυνάμει χρώμενος ἴθι ἐπὶ θύρας ἀρετ ῆς καὶ εὐδαιμονήσεις.
