Εἰ τοίνυν »μακάριοι οἱ κλαίοντες, ὅτι γελάσονται«, ἔδει Ἱερεμίαν τὸν μυστικὸν τοῦτον κλαῦσαι κλαυθμὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸ »μακάριοι οἱ πενθοὺντες« πενθῆσαι τοῦς τοῦ πενθεῖσθαι ἀξίους.
