Οἱονεί φησιν· ‹ἐγὼ› ὁ μηδὲν αἰχμαλωσίας ἔχων ‹ἐν μέσῳ αἰχμαλωσίας ἤμην› δι' οἰκονομίαν. Οὕτω καὶ ὁ Χριστὸς οὐκ αἰχμαλωτισθεὶς ἦν ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τῶν αἰχμαλώτων, ἀλλὰ λυτρώσεως αὐτῶν χάριν, ὡς καὶ ὁ προφήτης οὐ δι' ἁμαρτίας ‹ἦν ἐν μέσῳ τῆς αἰχμαλωσίας›, ἀλλ' ἰατρείας.
