Harpocration: Μακροκέφαλοι. Ἀντιφῶν ἐν τῷ Περὶ ὁμονοίας. Ἔθνος ἐστὶν οὕτω καλούμενον, οὗ καὶ Ἡσίοδος μέμνηται ἐν γʹ Γυναικῶν καταλόγῳ. —Παλαίφατος ἐν ζʹ Τρωικῶν ἐν τῇ Λιβύῃ φησὶν ὑπεράνω Κόλχων οἰκεῖν τοὺς Μακροκεφάλους.
