20 ια΄. Τῆς αὐτῆς δέ ἐστιν τοῖς προειρημένοις θεωρίας καὶ τοῦτο. τῶν ἴσην ἐχόντων περιφέρειαν κυκλικῶν τμημάτων μέγιστόν ἐστι τὸ ἡμικύκλιον. δείξομεν δὲ τοῦτο προγράψαντες πρότερον τὰ εἰς αὐτὸ λαμβανόμενα.
