79 μγ΄ Ἐκ τούτου φανερὸν ὅτι, ἐὰν ἐν παραλλήλοις ἐπιπέδοις κύκλοι ὦσιν , καὶ ἐν αὐτοῖς παράλληλοι εὐθεῖαι αἱ ΑΒ Γ∠ ἐπὶ τὰ αὐτὰ τῶν Ε Ζ κέντρων ὅμοια τμήματα κύκλων ἀπολαμβάνουσαι, παράλληλος ἔσται ἡ μὲν ΑΕ τῇ ΓΖ, ἡ δὲ ΒΕ τῇ ∠Ζ. Ἴσαι γάρ γίνονται διὰ τὴν ὁμοιότητα τῶν τμημάτων αἵ τε Α Γ καὶ αἱ Β ∠ γωνίαι , καὶ παράλληλοι αἱ ΑΒ Γ∠ ἐν παραλλήλοις ἐπιπέδοις.
