Οὐδὲν ἄχαρι βούλομαί σε παθεῖν ὑπ’ ἐμοῦ· πλείω γὰρ εὑρίσκω σοι τὰ ἀγαθὰ πεπραγμένα τῶν χειρόνων. διὸ καὶ τοῦτό σου τῶν βελτιόνων ἕν γενέσθω, τὸ μὴ προσαναγκάσαι με τῷ χαλεπωτέρῳ τῆς ψυχῆς κατὰ σοῦ χρήσασθαι πάθει.
