Οὐ παύσῃ τῆς ἀβουλίας, ἀμαθέστατε Λυσῖνε, οὐδὲ φείσῃ σεαυτοῦ τριάκοντα ἔτη γεγονώς, βαρυτέρους ἐχθροὺς ἢ δυνήσῃ μετὰ πολλῶν ἄλλων τοιούτων φέρειν ποιούμενος, ἀλλ’ ἔπη καὶ τραγῳδίας εἰς ἐμὲ γράφεις ὡς ἀνιασόμενον; τὰ δ’ ἀποτελέσματά σοι δεινότερα πάσης τραγῳδίας φυλάξῃ μὴ γενέσθαι.
