Δώτιον, πόλις Θεσσαλίας. ... Ἐκλήθη δὲ ἀπὸ Δωτίας τῆς Ἐλάτου· Φερεκύδης δὲ, ἀπὸ Δώτιος τοῦ Ἀστερίου, καὶ Ἀμφικτυόνης τῆς Φθίου. Φερεκύδης ἐν ἱστορίᾳ τοὺς ἐν Δελφοῖς φησὶ θνήσκοντας αὐτὸν ἀναβιώσκειν.
