Πυθόδωρος ἐν τῷ Περὶ στοιχείων αφιλλαισ (scr. Καὶ Φίλλις) ὁ Δήλιος ἐν τῷ Περὶ χρόνων πρὸ Κάδμου Δαναὸν μετακομίσαι αὐτά (τὰ γράμματά) φασιν. Ἐπιμαρτυροῦσι τούτοις καὶ οἱ Μιλησιακοὶ συγγραφεῖς Ἀναξίμανδρος καὶ Διονύσιος καὶ Ἑκαταῖος, οὓς καὶ Ἀπολλόδωρος ἐν Νεῶς καταλόγῳ παρατίθεται.
