εἰ δέ τις τὰς ἐπισκιαζούσας κλήσεις ἀπαμφιάσας γυμνὰ τὰ πράγματα βουληθείη καθαρῶς ἰδεῖν, εἴσεται διότι ἄρρεν μέν ἐστιν ἡ ἀρετὴ φύσει, παρόσον κινεῖ καὶ διατίθησι καὶ καλὰς ἐννοίας καλῶν πράξεων καὶ λόγων ὑπηχεῖ, θῆλυ δὲ ὁ λογισμὸς κινούμενος καὶ παιδευόμενος καὶ ὠφελούμενος καὶ συνόλως ἐν τῷ πάσχειν ἐξεταζόμενος, καὶ τὸ πάθος
