ὀφθαλμοὶ δὲ ἀπὸ γῆς ἐν ἀκαρεῖ φθάνουσιν εἰς οὐρανὸν καὶ τὰ πέρατα τοῦ παντός, ἐπ’ ἀνατολὰς ὁμοῦ καὶ δύσεις ἄρκτον τε καὶ μεσημβρίαν, καὶ ἀφικνούμενοι πρὸς τὸ θεωρεῖν ἕλκουσιν ἐπὶ τὰ φανέντα τὴν διάνοιαν.
