κἄπειθ’ ὁ μὲν πατὴρ συνεκόμιζε λίθους, ἵνα δείμαιτο βωμόν, ὁ δὲ υἱὸς τὰ μὲν ἄλλα ὁρῶν ὅσα πρὸς ἱερουργίαν εὐτρεπῆ, ζῷον δὲ μηδέν, ἀπιδὼν εἰς τὸν πατέρα „ἰδοὺ τὸ πῦρ“ ἔφη „καὶ τὰ ξύλα, πάτερ, ποῦ τὸ ἱερεῖον“;
