οἱ μὲν οὖν ἔθει σφαγιάζοντες οὐδὲν ὡς ἔοικε μέγα δρῶσιν· ἐγχρονίζον γὰρ ἔθος ἐξισοῦται φύσει πολλάκις, ὡς καὶ τὰ δυσυπομόνητα καὶ δυσκαρτέρητα ῥᾳδίως ἐπελαφρίζειν, τὰς ὑπερβολὰς τῶν φοβερῶν ἐξευμαρίζον.
