ἀλλὰ θηρώμενος ἔπαινον τῶν πολλῶν ἐπὶ τὴν πρᾶξιν ὥρμησε; καὶ τίς ἔπαινος ἐν ἐρημίᾳ, μηδενὸς τοῦ μέλλοντος ἐπευφημήσειν παρόντος, ἀλλὰ καὶ τῶν δυεῖν οἰκετῶν μακρὰν ἐπίτηδες ἀπολειφθέντων, ἵνα μὴ ἐγκαλλωπίζεσθαι καὶ ἐνεπιδείκνυσθαι
