δοκῇ μάρτυρας ἐπαγόμενος ὧν εὐσέβει; στόμασιν οὖν ἀχαλίνοις καὶ κακηγόροις θύρας ἐπιθέντες μετριαζέτωσαν τὸν ἐν αὑτοῖς μισόκαλον φθόνον καὶ ἀρετὰς ἀνδρῶν εὖ βεβιωκότων μὴ σινέσθωσαν, ἃς ἁρμόττον ἦν εὐφημίᾳ συνεπικοσμεῖν. ὅτι δὲ τῷ ὄντι ἐπαινετὴ καὶ ἀξιέραστος ἡ πρᾶξις, ἐκ πολλῶν εὐμαρὲς ἰδεῖν.
