ταύτης ἕνεκα τῆς αἰτίας δοκεῖ μοι καὶ πρότερον γελάσασα ἡ ἀρετῆς ἐπώνυμος Σάρρα πρὸς τὸν πυνθανόμενον ἀρνήσασθαι τὸν γέλωτα (Gen. 18, 15), καταδείσασα μή ποτε ἄρα τὸ χαίρειν οὐδενὸς ὂν γενητοῦ, μόνου δὲ τοῦ θεοῦ, σφετερίζηται· διόπερ θαρσύνων αὐτὴν ὁ ἱερὸς λόγος φησί·
