τὰ γὰρ ἑτέρων εἴτε ἀγαθὰ εἴτ’ αὖ κακὰ γλίχεται μανθάνειν, ὡς αὐτίκα τοῖς μὲν φθονεῖν, ἐφ’ οἷς δὲ ἥδεσθαι· βάσκανον γὰρ καὶ μισόκαλον καὶ φιλοπόνηρον ὁ φαῦλος φύσει.
