μὴ δὴ παραπόλαυε τῆς ἐμῆς ἀγονίας μηδ’ ἕνεκα τῆς πρὸς ἐμὲ εὐνοίας αὐτὸς δυνάμενος εἶναι πατὴρ κεκώλυσο· ζηλοτυπία γὰρ οὐκ ἂν γένοιτό μοι πρὸς ἑτέραν, ἣν οὐ δι’ ἐπιθυμίαν ἄλογον ἄξῃ, νόμον δὲ φύσεως ἐκπιμπλὰς ἀναγκαῖον.
