διὰ τοῦτο τὴν πρώτην ἀποικίαν ἀπὸ τῆς Χαλδαίων γῆς εἰς τὴν Χαρραίων λέγεται ποιήσασθαι. Χαρρὰν δὲ Ἑλληνιστὶ „τρῶγλαι“ λέγονται, κατὰ σύμβολον αἱ τῶν ἡμετέρων αἰσθήσεων χῶραι, δι’ ὧν ὥσπερ ὀπῶν ἑκάστη διακύπτειν πέφυκε πρὸς τὴν τῶν οἰκείων ἀντίληψιν.
