μαρτυρεῖ δὲ τοῖς εἰρημένοις καὶ ἡ τοῦ ὀνόματος ὑπαλλαγὴ καὶ μετάθεσις. ἐκαλεῖτο γὰρ Ἄβραμ τὸ ἀρχαῖον ὄνομα, προσερρήθη δ’ ὕστερον Ἀβραάμ, φωνῇ μὲν ἑνὸς στοιχείου τοῦ ἄλφα διπλασιασθέντος, δυνάμει δὲ μεγάλου πράγματος καὶ δόγματος ἐνδειξαμένου τὴν μεταβολήν.
