Πρὸς δὲ τὴν τοῦ τρίτου κεφαλαίου κατασκευὴν χρῶνται λόγῳ τοιῷδε· φθείρεται πάντως ἐκεῖνο, οὗ πάντα τὰ μέρη φθαρτά ἐστι, τοῦ δὲ κόσμου πάντα τὰ μέρη φθαρτά ἐστι, φθαρτὸς ἄρα ὁ κόσμος ἐστίν.
