ἥ γε μὴν ἀέρος φθορὰ παντί τῳ δῆλον· νοσεῖν γὰρ καὶ φθίνειν καὶ τρόπον τινὰ ἀποθνῄσκειν πέφυκεν. ἐπεὶ τί ἄν τις μὴ στοχασάμενος ὀνομάτων εὐπρεπείας ἀλλὰ τἀληθοῦς εἴποι λοιμὸν εἶναι πλὴν ἀέρος θάνατον τὸ οἰκεῖον πάθος ἀναχέοντος ἐπὶ φθορᾷ πάντων ὅσα ψυχῆς μεμοίραται;
