τούτων μὲν δὴ τῶν ἀγώνων πρὸς ἀλήθειαν ἱερὸς οὐδείς, κἂν πάντες ἄνθρωποι μαρτυρῶσιν, οὓς ἀνάγκη πρὸς ἑαυτῶν ψευδομαρτυριῶν ἁλίσκεσθαι· οἱ γὰρ ταῦτα θαυμάζοντες τοὺς νόμους τοὺς καθ’ ὑβριστῶν καὶ τιμωρίας τὰς ἐπὶ ταῖς αἰκίαις ἔθεσαν καὶ δικαστὰς τοὺς περὶ ἑκάστων διαγνωσομένους ἀπεκλήρωσαν.
