δυεῖν γὰρ ἐναντίων καθ’ ἑνὸς εἴτε σώματος εἴτε πράγματος ὁρισθέντων ἢ εὖ ἢ κακῶς ἐξ ἀνάγκης ἂν ἔχοι θάτερον· ἄμφω γὰρ ἀμήχανον. πότερον οὖν ἐπαινοῖτ’ ἂν δεόντως; ἆρ’ οὐ τὸ τοὺς χειρῶν ἄρχοντας ἀδίκων κολάζεσθαι; ψέγοιτ’ ἂν οὖν εἰκότως τὸ ἐναντίον, τὸ τιμᾶσθαι· ψεκτὸν δ’ οὐδὲν τῶν ἱερῶν, ἀλλὰ πάντως εὐκλεές.
