ἂν μέντοι τι καὶ τῶν τῆς ἀγρίας λεγομένης ὕλης ἐδώδιμον μὲν μὴ φέρῃ καρπόν, δύνηται δὲ ἐδωδίμου φραγμὸς εἶναι καὶ φυλακτήριον, καὶ τοῦτο ταμιεύσομαι, οὐ δι’ ἑαυτό, ἀλλ’ ὅτι ὑπηρετεῖν ἀναγκαίῳ καὶ χρησίμῳ σφόδρα πέφυκε.
