ὁ δ’ ἱππεὺς πάλιν, ὅταν ἀνέρχεσθαι μέλλῃ, χαλινὸν ἐντίθησι κἄπειτ’ ἐφαλλόμενος τῆς περιαυχενίου χαίτης ἐνείληπται καὶ φέρεσθαι δοκῶν αὐτός, εἰ δεῖ τἀληθὲς εἰπεῖν, ἄγει τὸ κομίζον τρόπον κυβερνήτου· καὶ γὰρ ἐκεῖνος ἄγεσθαι δοκῶν ὑπὸ νεὼς τῆς κυβερνωμένης ἄγει πρὸς ἀλήθειαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐφ’ οὓς ἐπείγεται παραπέμπει λιμένας.
