ὕμνος δὲ ὁ αὐτὸς ἀμφοτέροις ᾄδεται τοῖς χοροῖς ἐπῳδὸν ἔχων θαυμασιώτατον, ὃν ἐφυμνεῖσθαι καλόν· ἔστι δὲ τοιόσδε· „ᾄσωμεν τῷ κυρίῳ, ἐνδόξως γὰρ δεδόξασται· ἵππον καὶ ἀναβάτην ἔρριψεν εἰς θάλασσαν“ (Exod. 15,1.21)·
