ἀλλ’ οὗτοι μὲν εὑρεσιλογοῦσιν ἀδικοῦντες, οἱ δ’ ἄνευ ἀπολογίας διαμαρτάνοντές εἰσιν οἱ τὸν ἀναβάτην νοῦν ἔποχον ἀποφαίνοντες ἄπειρον ἱππικῆς ἐπιστήμης κακίᾳ καὶ πάθει τετράποδι.
