παντὶ δὲ σοφῷ τὸ καλὸν φίλον, ὃ καὶ πάντως ἐστὶ σωτήριον. ὥσθ’ ὅταν εὔχηται Μωυσῆς γενέσθαι τῷ Δὰν ἢ αὐτὸν ἐκεῖνον ὄφιν—ἑκατέρως γὰρ ἔστιν ἐκδέξασθαι —, παραπλήσιον τῷ ὑπ’ αὐτοῦ κατασκευασθέντι, ἀλλ’ οὐχ ὅμοιον τῷ τῆς Εὔας εὔχεται·
