ψυχὴν ἰδεῖν δυναμένῳ. τὸ μὲν οὖν εἰς ἐπίκρισιν ἐναντίον τοιοῦτόν ἐστι· τὸ δ’ εἰς οἰκείωσιν, ὃ ἐπὶ τοῦ πανσόφου λέλεκται Ἀβραάμ· „ἔτι“ γάρ φησιν "ἦν ἑστηκὼς ἐναντίον κυρίου" (Gen. 18,22 )· καὶ τεκμήριον τῆς οἰκειώσεως τὸ ἐπιλεγόμενον ὅτι „ἐγγίσας εἶπεν“ (ib. 23)· ἀλλοτριουμένῳ γὰρ ἀφίστασθαι καὶ διαζεύγνυσθαι, οἰκειουμένῳ δὲ συνεγγίζειν ἁρμόττει.
