κἂν τὸν αὐστηρὸν καὶ σκυθρωπὸν τῶν φιλαρέτων ἀποδρᾶναι βίον σπουδάσῃ, πάλιν ὑποστρέψει πρὸς τὸν αὐτὸν μήπω τὰς γενικὰς καὶ ἀφθάρτους ἀκρότητας ἔχειν δυνάμενον, ἀλλ’ ἔτι τῶν ἐν μέρει καὶ κατ’ εἶδος ἐφαπτόμενον, ἐν οἷς πρὸ τῶν ἄκρων τὰ μέσα αἱρετά·
