διὰ τοῦτο καὶ ὧν ἐγεωπόνησε τὰς ἀπαρχὰς ἑαυτῷ ταμιεύεται, καρποὺς δὲ αὐτὸ μόνον αὖθις προσενεγκεῖν θεῷ λέγεται καίτοι παραδείγματος ὑγιοῦς ἐγγὺς ἑστῶτος· ὁ γὰρ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ τὰ πρωτότοκα, οὐ τὰ δεύτερα τῆς ποίμνης ἔκγονα ἱερουργεῖ, τὰς τῶν γινομένων πρεσβυτέρας αἰτίας κατὰ τὸ πρεσβύτατον τῶν αἰτίων ὁμολογῶν συνίστασθαι.
