τὰ δὲ τοῖς δορυφόροις τούτοις ἐχθρὰ ἀντικάθηται, πήρωσις αἰσθητηρίων καὶ νόσος, ὡς ἔφην, οἷς ἡ διάνοια συγκατακρημνισθῆναι πολλάκις ἐμέλλησε. καὶ τὰ μὲν τυχηρὰ ταῦτα ἀργαλέα σφόδρα καὶ σχέτλια ἐξ ἑαυτῶν, πρὸς δὲ τὴν τῶν ἐκ προνοίας σύγκρισιν κουφότερα πολλῷ.
