χειροποιήτῳ χειμῶνι κυμαίνουσιν. εὖ μέντοι γε ἔχει παρὰ τὸ χεῖλος τοῦ ποταμοῦ τὴν ἐναντίωσιν συνίστασθαι· χείλη δὲ στόματος μέν ἐστι πέρατα, φραγμὸς δέ τις γλώττης, δι’ ὧν φέρεται τὸ τοῦ λόγου ῥεῦμα, ὅταν ἄρξηται κατέρχεσθαι.
