ἀρχὴ γὰρ καὶ ἀφορμὴ φαύλῳ πρὸς τὰς παρὰ φύσιν ἐνεργείας τὸ κακίας χωρίον· ὅσοι δὲ μετανάσται μὲν ἀρετῆς ἐγένοντο, ταῖς δ’ ἀφροσύνης ἐχρήσαντο ἀφορμαῖς, οἰκειότατον εὑρόντες οἰκοῦσι τόπον, ὃς Ἑβραίων μὲν γλώττῃ Σεναάρ, Ἑλλήνων δὲ ἐκτιναγμὸς καλεῖται·
