Παρατήρει δ’ ὅτι οὔ φησιν ἐλθεῖν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ πεδίον ἐν ᾧ κατέμειναν, ἀλλὰ εὑρεῖν ἀναζητήσαντας πάντως καὶ σκεψαμένους τὸ ἐπιτηδειότατον ἀφροσύνης χωρίον· τῷ γὰρ ὄντι πᾶς ἄφρων οὐ παρ’ ἑτέρου λαμβάνει ἑαυτῷ τὰ δὲ κακὰ ζητῶν ἀνευρίσκει, μὴ μόνοις ἀρκούμενος τούτοις ἐφ’ ἅπερ ἡ μοχθηρὰ φύσις δι’ ἑαυτῆς βαδίζει, ἀλλὰ καὶ προστιθεὶς τὰ ἐκ τοῦ κακοτεχνεῖν τέλεια γυμνάσματα.
