τοιγαροῦν εἰκότως Ἀβραὰμ ἐρεῖ τοῖς νεκροφύλαξι καὶ ταμίαις τῶν θνητῶν, ἀναστὰς ἀπὸ τοῦ νεκροῦ βίου καὶ τύφου· „πάροικος καὶ παρεπίδημός εἰμι ἐγὼ μεθ’ ὑμῶν„ (Gen. 23, 4), αὐτόχθονες δὲ ὑμεῖς, κόνιν καὶ χοῦν ψυχῆς προτιμήσαντες, προεδρίας ἀξιώσαντες ὄνομα Ἐφρών, ὃς ἑρμηνεύεται χοῦς.
