ἐπειδὰν δὲ δόξωσιν εἶναι προσηνεῖς, τὸ ἐφύμνιον ᾄσεται Μωυσῆς λέγων· „ὠσφράνθη κύριος ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας“ (Gen. 8,21), τὸ ὀσφρανθῆναι τιθεὶς ἐπὶ τοῦ συναινέσαι· οὐ γὰρ ἀνθρωπόμορφος οὐδὲ μυκτήρων ἤ τινων ἄλλων ὀργανικῶν μερῶν χρεῖος.
