Μὴ νομίσῃς δὲ τὴν Ἄγαρ λέγεσθαι ἑαυτὴν ὁρᾶν ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχουσαν διὰ τοῦ "ἰδοῦσα ὅτι ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχει“ (Gen. 16, 4), ἀλλὰ τὴν κυρίαν αὐτῆς Σάρραν. καὶ γὰρ ὕστερον αὕτη περὶ ἑαυτῆς φησιν· „ἰδοῦσα ὅτι ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχει, ἠτιμάσθην ἐνώπιον αὐτῆς“ (ibid. 5).
