πόθεν γὰρ αὐτῇ λέγειν ὁριζομένῃ, ὅτι σημεῖον μέν ἐστιν οὗ μέρος οὐδέν, γραμμὴ δὲ μῆκος ἀπλατές, ἐπιφάνεια δὲ ὃ μῆκος καὶ πλάτος μόνον ἔχει, στερεὸν δὲ ὃ τὰς τρεῖς ἔχει διαστάσεις, μῆκος, πλάτος, βάθος; ταῦτα γὰρ ἀνάκειται φιλοσοφίᾳ καὶ ἡ περὶ ὅρων πραγματεία πᾶσα τῷ φιλοσόφῳ.
