ἀλλὰ τὰ δι’ ὑπονοιῶν σημαινόμενα σκοπῶμεν καὶ λέγωμεν, ὅτι τὸ μὲν „ἐκάκωσε“ ἴσον ἐστὶ τῷ ἐπαίδευσε καὶ ἐνουθέτησε καὶ ἐσωφρόνισε, τὸ δὲ „λιμῷ παρέβαλεν“ οὐ σιτίων καὶ ποτῶν εἰργάσατο ἔνδειαν, ἀλλ’ ἡδονῶν καὶ ἐπιθυμιῶν φόβων τε καὶ λύπης καὶ ἀδικημάτων καὶ συνόλως ἁπάντων ὅσα ἢ κακιῶν ἐστιν ἢ παθῶν ἔργα.
