οὗτος ἀντὶ χειμῶνος γαλήνην καὶ ὑγείαν ἀντὶ νόσου καὶ ζωήν, εἰ δεῖ τἀληθὲς εἰπεῖν, ἀντὶ θανάτου παρεσκεύασε, τοῦ νικηφόρου θεοῦ τροπαιοφόρον αὐτὸν ἀναδείξαντος, ᾧ καὶ τὰς δεκάτας χαριστήρια τῆς νίκης ἀνατίθησι (Gen. 14,20).
