καὶ ἧττον ἂν ἦν δεινόν, εἰ τὸ μῖσος ἐπεδείκνυτο ἐμφανές — τὰ γὰρ ἐν περιόπτῳ ῥᾷον φυλάξασθαι —· νυνὶ δὲ δυσυπονόητον καὶ δυσθήρατόν ἐστι, πανούργοις τέχναις συσκιαζόμενον καὶ τὴν ἐναντίαν ἔστιν ὅτε τοῦ φιλεῖν δόξαν ἐμποιοῦν γοητείαις τισὶ καὶ ἀπάταις.
