ὅσοι τοίνυν τῶν κλεπτῶν ἰσχὺν προσέλαβον, ὅλας συλῶσι πόλεις ἀλογοῦντες τιμωριῶν διὰ τὸ ἐπικυδέστεροι τῶν νόμων εἷναι δοκεῖν· οὗτοι δ’ εἰσὶν οἱ ὀλιγαρχικοὶ τὰς φύσεις, οἱ τυραννίδων καὶ δυναστειῶν ἐπιθυμοῦντες, οἱ τὰς μεγάλας ἐργαζόμενοι κλοπάς, σεμνοῖς ὀνόμασι τοῖς ἀρχῆς καὶ ἡγεμονίας ἐπικρύπτοντες λῃστείαν τἀληθὲς ἔργον.
