δεύτερον δὲ πρὸς τῷ ψεύδεσθαι καὶ τὰ πράγματα οἷα νυκτὶ καὶ σκότῳ βαθεῖ περιαμπίσχουσι καὶ συμπράττουσι μὲν τοῖς ἁμαρτάνουσιν, ἐπιτίθενται δὲ τοῖς ἀδικουμένοις, ἃ μήτ’ εἶδον μήτ’ ἤκουσαν μήτ’ ἴσασι παγίως εἰδέναι καὶ σφόδρα κατειληφέναι διαβεβαιούμενοι.
