οὐ διὰ τοῦτον συγγένειαι μὲν ἀλλοτριοῦνται τὴν φυσικὴν εὔνοιαν μεθαρμοζόμεναι πρὸς ἀνήκεστον ἔχθραν, χῶραι δὲ μεγάλαι καὶ πολυάνθρωποι στάσεσιν ἐμφυλίοις ἐρημοῦνται, γῆ δὲ καὶ θάλαττα πληροῦται τῶν καινουργουμένων αἰεὶ συμφορῶν ναυμαχίαις καὶ πεζαῖς στρατιαῖς;
