εἰσὶ δ’ οἳ καὶ προσυπερβάλλουσιν ἀσεβείᾳ μηδὲ τὸ ἴσον ἀποδιδόντες, ἀλλὰ τοῖς μὲν τὰ πάντα τῶν ἐπὶ τιμῇ χαριζόμενοι, τῷ δ’ οὐδὲν νέμοντες ἀλλ’ οὐδὲ μνήμην, τὸ κοινότατον· ἐπιλήθονται γὰρ οὗ μόνον μεμνῆσθαι προσῆκον ἦν, ἐπιτηδεύοντες οἱ βαρυδαίμονες ἑκούσιον λήθην.
