Ἐκ τοῦ αὐτοῦ· τὰς ἐπηρείας καὶ ὕβρεις, ἃς οἶνος ἐργάζεται, ῥᾴδιον ἰδεῖν. ἐπιτειχίζει γὰρ τὰ φαῦλα καὶ δοῦλα κατὰ τῶν ἀμεινόνων καὶ δεσποτῶν. ὑποβάλλει γὰρ σώματι ψυχὴν, διανοίᾳ αἴσθησιν, πάθεσιν ἀπάθειαν, φρόνησιν ἀφροσύνῃ, δικαιοσύνην ἀδικίᾳ, εὐσέβειαν ἀνοσιότητι καὶ συνόλως κακίαις ἀρετάς. ὧν τί ἄν τις νοήσας εὕροι κακὸν μεῖζον;
